Lucknow Company organises 'Green Drive' and adopts 51 senior citizen
Lucknow: Shine Group, one of the leading name in real estate industry has always marked its presence in every social movement across the country. With this, to mark the importance of environment conservation, the team organized a plantation drive titled ‘Green Drive’ at Paradise Garden, Sitapur road, Lucknow to spread awareness about environment protection, sustenance and eco-conscious growth. In addition to this, Shine Group also adopted 51 senior citizen of Khajuri and Rakhuna, village in Varanasi and is committed to provide various healthcare facilities. Further, the team at Varanasi planted approx. 10,000 saplings at its project ‘Kashiyana’ in order to observe World Environment Day.
Speaking on the occasion of World Environment Day, Chairman of Shine Group, Mr. Rashid Naseem, said “Environment day is not merely a single day event, rather it is an on-going endeavor. Initiatives should be driven by heart and not by cost and compulsion. We are a part of earth and we should contribute by keeping our environment clean. These little saplings will bloom tomorrow and will make planet Earth a cleaner and greener place. With this, the initiative that we have taken to adopt elderly persons is not only to provide them medicine or health care but also these interventions are expected to improve the quality of life.”
Shine Group conducted the drive with great enthusiasm as it was a remarkable contribution towards the environment and eco-system which in turn, will ultimately benefit the society. This green drive was undertaken with intent to encourage a sense of eco-friendly consciousness among people and to make them aware of need for active participation towards the preservation of eco-system. Members of Shine Group also participated in the activity contributing to turn the city into an anti-pollution sink to enable Lucknow to breathe life.
